NOTICE TO ALL PLATINUM REWARDS MEMBERS

Beginning June 1, 2008, Platinum Rewards will no longer be offering the Affiliate Network component of our program (that part of the program that allows you to earn Platinum Rewards points when shopping online with designated online retailers).

Please note that all other aspects of the Platinum Rewards program remain intact, including the ability to earn points on qualifying purchases made at , and to redeem points at  toward future purchases in accordance with program terms and conditions. Also note that any points you might have earned through the Affiliate Network, but which have not been redeemed, are and will remain available for redemption as per Platinum Rewards terms and conditions.

Further to the discontinuance of the Affiliate Network, the Platinum Rewards Points Maximizer™ software will no longer provide you with any benefits, and should be uninstalled from your computer. If you have the software installed, here is the uninstall procedure:

1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows, as well as any windows of Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.). 
   
   
2. Click Start, then choose Control Panel. 
   
   
3. Double-click the “Add or Remove Programs” icon.
   
   
4. In the list of installed programs, scroll down until you see “Platinum Rewards Points Maximizer.” If you do not see it listed, you do not have it installed, and you do not need to take any further action.
   
   
5. If you see the program listed, click the “Remove” button adjacent to the listing. Follow any instructions which may appear.
   
   
6. Once the uninstall process has completed, we strongly recommend restarting your computer.
